I'm Scott Whitfield — a photographer based in Kingscliff, on the far north coast of New South Wales.

SGW Co. is an editorial-lifestyle photography studio with a deep specialism in the Australian coast. The work sits in a considered, quieter register — closer in sensibility to an editorial publication than a commercial campaign — and is built around a simple idea: that brands in the outdoor, coastal, and lifestyle space deserve imagery with the same craft as the products they make.

Over the last several years I've made work for YETI, Shimano, Volkswagen, Tourism Queensland, BCF, Mercury, Mako Eyewear, Surfing Australia, Lowrance, Simrad, and NRMA Parks & Resorts. My background sits across photography and creative direction, which informs how I approach every brief — not just capturing images, but shaping the story a brand wants to tell.
